ROLE MODEL SPEAKER
You can’t help but want to be like Teresa Spafford.
She has an ability to see the bigger picture. To connect the dots. To listen to two drummers in completely different genres and hear music. She makes you want to dance. She’s a rockstar.
My role is to connect San Diego employers with middle and high schools to educate students about the careers available to them, the skills they need to enter the workforce, and how to use their abilities, interests, and values to make decisions about their future.
Currently at Valkyrie, a data-science and strategy firm, she takes her experience as a marketing executive to accelerate her career at agencies to empower the organization’s growth.
Hannah Grisham is a 20-year-old race car driver from Glendora, California, born on Valentine’s Day in February 2000. Hannah began driving at age 3, riding motorcycles at age 4, racing karts at age 6 and racing Spec Miata at age 16, now in her fourth year in the series.
Hannah has over 800 competitive starts spread across more than 300 races in cars and karts from the club to the national level.
Sabrina has an undergraduate degree and a master’s in mechanical engineering from Cornell University.
She spent time as a product design engineer working on Mac products and most recently she is the inventor and mechanical engineer behind at Fix The Mask, a movement to equip people all around the world with safe masks.
I work to maintain safety in all areas of the facility and, respond to all emergencies anywhere on the grounds. When not responding to emergencies I work to make sure members and guests have everything they need.
PUBLIC SPEAKING SPEAKER
James is San Diego’s Funniest Person. Allegedly. He’ll be the first to tell you that monicker may be a bit overstated.
What James is though, is a world-class communicator. That is undisputed. We brought him in to teach us how to be more comfortable with what is a pretty universal fear… pubic speaking. Yikes!
ROLE MODEL SPEAKER
As Navigator for Team Ponderosa it is my responsibility to be able to plot latitude & longitude, read topographic maps and time/speed/distance. Using these skills accurately identity checkpoints, select optimal routes that allows us to complete as many checkpoints each day during the Rebelle Rally.
WHAT IT TAKES SPEAKER
John is an absolute legend in the racing world and when it comes to building a career, someone to emulate.
Not one to shy away from a challenge, John Morton saw what he wanted from life and went out and made it happen. Was it always easy? Of course not. But nothing in life worth doing is easy.
Want to do it right? Do it the way John did it.
