In 2011, I signed up for improv classes, performed with The Third Thought improv group, and began writing sketches and standup comedy. A year later, I moved from Florida to San Diego to pursue comedy full-time. To start this next chapter I spent 6 months driving around the country doing comedy open mics in every city I stopped in, The Third Thought improv group performed at the UCB Del Close Marathon in NYC, and then I spent 5 weeks in Chicago while attending the iO Summer Improv Intensive Workshop. San Diego was my final destination in October of 2012 and after making the rounds of open mics I became a featured performer at The La Jolla Comedy Store, The American Comedy Co, The Mad House Comedy Club and The Comedy Palace. Since 2012 I have been lucky enough to open for Al Madrigal, Dave Attell, Tom Rhodes, Pablo Francisco, Doug Stanhope, Fortune Feimster, Steve Rannazzisi, Joey “Coco” Diaz and many more great comics.
In 2018 I teamed up with Raindrop Branding and Marketing to create a commercial for Dr. Squatch Soap. The success of that commercial lead to more wonderful opportunities with Dr. Squatch, William Painter, Soapy Joe’s, WORX Power Tools, the San Diego Symphony and more. To date, I have co-written and acted in commercials with over 300 million views including an ad for the San Diego Symphony which won an Emmy.
In 2018 I was asked to help write and act in the first Dr. Squatch commercial, later that year I placed 2nd at the World Series of Comedy.
Since then I have been fortunate enough to make more commercials with great brands!
Up until 2020 I was performing standup 5 nights a week in San Diego and all over the country.
