Allison Andrews was born in Illinois and raised in Georgia. She grew up playing softball, basketball, and trying to keep up with anything and everything that her two older sisters did. She attended Georgia Southern University and studied Childhood and Family Development. Afterwards, she received her MSW with a concentration in Community Partnerships at Georgia State University. While in school, Allison worked for the brand, Red Bull, and immediately fell in love with the world of live events and brand experiences. After graduation, Allison was a therapist for young children and families. In 2016, she made a career change and began working for the startup, Carvana. She learned the customer experience from start to finish by learning to drive a one car hauler and delivering vehicles to customers. After one year, she started on the Brand Marketing team. Allison is now a Team Lead in Carvana’s Marketing department who focuses on Brand Activation and Community Engagement. She was able to merge her passions of cultivating community and creating brand experiences. Allison has been with Carvana for over 6 years. She’s been able to work on Carvana’s social impact through their Carvana Cares video series, partnering with non-profits, and overseeing an internal program that encourages employees to create community projects to support causes they are most passionate about. She has also been on the leadership team for Carvana’s employee resource group, BEACON, which helps to support Black employees and allies. This year, Allison was invited to serve on Carvana’s Diversity Committee which champions initiatives designed to increase appreciation for our differences and strives to amplify that Carvana is for Everyone. In her spare time, Allison enjoys walking with her dog Aspen, attending live events ( concerts, sports, comedy shows), and volunteering!
