SPEAKERS

TEGAN HAMMOND

LAND, SEA & AIR
STUNT CAR DRIVER

Tegan’s driving career began at the Bonneville Salt Flats where she currently holds two land-speed records—302 mph & 294 mph.

She has also earned a win in the Vintage Sprint circuit at Santa Maria Raceway in only her second time in the drivers seat while competing against a field of all male seasoned vintage racers.

In 2014, she was invited to a level one stunt driving course where she fell in love again with an entirely new form of driving. She has since been a driving double for Heidi Klum, Chelsea Wendroff, Perdita Weeks, Jordana Brewster & Tasya Teles.

In 2018 was chosen by Ferrari to be the first female driver to appear in any of Ferrari’s promotional work.

RYDER ASHCRAFT

LAND, SEA & AIR

NUCLEAR SUBMARINE OFFICER

Ryder Ashcraft is from a small town in North Idaho and went to college at the United States Naval Academy. She graduated in 2014 with a Bachelors of Science in Ocean Engineering and was commissioned into the United States Navy’s Submarine force.

In the Navy she became a certified nuclear engineer and was the officer responsible for ensuring the quality of maintenance performed on the submarine’s mechanical systems. She deployed to the Pacific Ocean several times and supervised the complete replacement of the USS MAINE’s nuclear reactor.

She is currently completing her Masters of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and will return to the submarine force in August 2021.

SYDNEY ZACSEK

LAND, SEA & AIR

PILOT & JET BROKER

Sydney Zacsek’s love for aviation sparked at the age of thirteen following her first glider flight. That experience ignited a lifelong passion while opening her eyes to a new industry.

Switching gears to fixed wing airplanes, Sydney took her first solo flight at age sixteen and later received her Private Pilot’s License in a Cessna 172 aircraft. Time away from the sky was spent as a standout on the high school Varsity Golf Team and racing dirt bikes competitively in the desert.

Turning passion into purpose, Sydney balanced work at a noncommercial airport while receiving a B.S. Degree in Aviation Administration from Cal State Los Angeles. Years later, Sydney is now the Sales Director at a respected Private Jet Firm specializing in Sales and Acquisitions of Aircraft.

LANCE SMITH

FABcamp 2020 STARS

FABRICATOR

Lance Smith was the idea man behind the drift trike project. It was a true study in how to conceptualize, sketch, engineer, research other’s, build, take apart and build again. His years of experience restoring historic racecars and building unique one-of-a-kind cars gave us the voice of experience that we needed as a team. You’ll get to go inside his shop, see all the cool cars, incredible amount of tools, and hear “What It Takes” to be a fabricator.

SHAYNE CONNER

FABcamp 2020 STARS

APPRENTICE

Shayne had never worked in an auto shop before, handled the magnitude of these power tools, and created from the ground up a moving, engine-revving mode of transportation. The sketches and parts list slowly became a functioning drift trike over the weeks as she apprenticed alongside Lance in the build. She also sharpened her business and speaking skills as she led the FABcampers through the process in our weekly video segments.

LOXLEY BROWNE

FABcamp 2020 STARS

FOUNDER & PRODUCER

Loxley pivoted before others to bring an incredible experience to girls who were not going to have their normal summer camp fun. With her Canon and iPhone she was the single-handed force creating the content that would be shown during camp. Thanks to her tenacity, the Google search engine, and ordering the parts two months before the build, it all came together. She and the FABcampers just learned to say “speedbump” when mishaps happened.
