The Lost Arts Camp: Part IV
December 27 @ 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm PSTFree
ATTENTION ALL BUILDERS, ENGINEERS, ARTISTS…THE FUN IS ALMOST OVER!
The crafts, the skills, the fun that has been passed down from generation to generation. Have you heard family stories of activities and crafts from years past? We are bringing that back to life with the Lost Arts camp!
Every week we will cover eight skill topics: fundamental, outdoor, art, STEM, fun, health, culture and baking.
WEEK FOUR OF CAMP IS FILLED WITH THESE FUN ACTIVITIES:
Life is a Stage! – Anaya & Tanisi are going to take us on a journey. Learn how to have fun on stage with these two!
All In Knots – We are bringing in two adventurous sailors to teach us about tying knots. August & John will teach us the basics so that we can tackle any outdoor situation with ease!
Up Cycling Beautiful – Ocean is turning junk into treasures! We’re taking something we would normally recycle and giving it a new life.
Snap! That’s Magic! – Our robotics winner Shayne will teach us the basics of electronic circuitry using the Smart Circuit kit. We use this same kit for our Builder Saturdays (you may want to add this to your Christmas wish list).
Vision Board Calendar Part Deux – Ms. Loxley and Ocean will help you finish the layout of your calendar adding all of the special elements to really make it special!
We’re Here to Pump You Up! – Ready to try a Spartan-type race? Hanzel & Franzel are here to help! We’re going to review different exercises that we can all do on a daily basis to make us ready for almost anything!
Cultures Around the World – Anaya is going to take us on a journey of how different countries and cultures celebrate the new year. Guess what!?! New year isn’t on December 31st for everyone!
Ringing in the New Year Goodies – She is a whiz at decorating and in the kitchen. Get ready to cook up some delicious bites with Izzy and her team! Wow your family as you ring in the New Year together!
OUR CAMP IS TAUGHT BY STUDENTS FOR STUDENTS!
