TEAM MANAGER & CO-DRIVER, DIRTY BAVARIAN RACING
Shannon is the co-owner, team manager, and co-driver for Dirty Bavarian Racing.
Prior to race day, she leads the scheduling, logistics, and movement plan for the entire team throughout the season, as well as project manages the always-evolving build of the race car, a BMW E30.
On race day, Shannon is sitting in the right seat reading pace notes which allows her driver to fully commit without hesitation to blind corners, around obstacles, and through narrow winding gravel roads at full speed to get the best possible time.
When not racing, Shannon works full time as a marketing manager for a company that manufactures systems for the US Department of Defense. These systems provide intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance for military and border security applications.
Her area of expertise is bridging the gap between what engineers create – and widely communicating how it helps Soldiers on the modern battlefield. She oversees a product portfolio consisting of autonomous vehicles including robots, drones, payloads, and mobile surveillance systems.
Shannon is a San Diego native, who currently lives outside of Portland, Oregon.
