DINESH PINISETTY

DEAN OF ENGINEERING, CALIFORNIA STATE UNIVERSITY MARITIME ACADEMY (CSUM)

Dr. Pinisetty is a Dean for the School of Engineering at the California State University Maritime Academy (CSUM). His areas of research interests include lightweight composite materials in marine engineering applications, lead-acid and lithium ion batteries, nanoscale thermoelectric coolers, and molecular dynamic simulations. Dr. Pinisetty’s work has been published at respected peer-reviewed journals, such as Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, Journal of Materials Chemistry, Act Materialia, Applied Physics Letters. He has also presented his scholarly work at many conferences.

Before joining CSUM, he was an adjunct faculty and research associate at New York University (NYU). Dr. Pinisetty received his Ph.D. and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana State University, and Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, India.
